Edifice Sherbrooke - Digital Art, 2019
In 2016, we visited my Dad in Sherbrooke, Quebec and he drove us around to sightsee. I hung my iPhone out the car window and kept snapping random photos as we drove by buildings. In the above piece, I dropped a couple of the photos into Adobe Capture, altered it and created a digital stamp to use in Adobe Draw, trying out different colors each time I used the stamp. I uploaded this transparency and several other designs to print-to-order companies to get tee shirts printed with the design. Whatever color I chose for a tee shirt would come through as the background for this artwork. A drive-by photo while in motion isn't the best photo on its own, but can be used as a fun starting point for digital artwork.
